dave is it faster than a xe then?

as both my xe's didnt beat ctr's!

Its much faster than an XE to 60/70.. Ask Benkid

i played with the one on the iphone not long ago. the results it gave were a bit weird.

its ok for 7 quid. having it on the phone for a laugh is entertaining. we got 0-60 in 4.84. 0-100 in 7.8

crazy times.

if they were real, id be posting up on here telling everyone how my car is quicker than motorbikes and would keep up with a veyron from a rolling start. however im not. so no, i dont belive them.

real timing gear i belive. 0-129mph in 12.1 seconds. thats a fact.

1/4's wont be too impressive, like I said gearing is shit.. Its the off the line acceleration that just blows me away.. There are pleanty of members who have driven the car who I'm sure will back me up

Basically I run out of gears.. he can do nearly 100 in 3rd.. I cant even do that in 4th really! lol

id be very suprised if you were crossing the line at over 100mph anyway. i think youd be looking about 90ish mph maybe at 15.5-16 seconds.

well a standard ctr is 15.0-15.2
and a xe corsa is 15.2-15.4

ive seen plenty corsa xe's run high 14's. ive had 14.6 out of mine with full interior etc and a std engine.

i had a 14 second dead in my old corsa gsi not standard tho!

and a 15.2 in standard form!

id be quite interested to see what davey gets. using my drag strip skills and calculations. id expect it to be similar to a 2.0 8v corsa, so around about the 16 ish figure. maybe a 15.8

if it beats integra type-r's to 60, then it does 0-60 in less than 6.3 seconds.

my mates xe did a 14.8 last year at the pod that thats was ferly standerd. i still cant see how this 1.8 with less power and less torque could be faster than an xe
