we have A 70% chance of another 4-8 inches tonight. on top of the 8 or 9 inches we already had that hasn't melted yet.

Melting really fast today. Fingers crossed it doesn't freeze tonight then we should be back to normal by next weekend.

yeah we had an inch last night, my journey to newbury was a nightmare, roads were fine 95% of palces but other drivers goign like 20mph on the main road

one of my good irish friends fell over on the ice walkign hoem on NYE and broke his arm! Apparently there were loads of people in A&E cos of it, their lack of money means many paths and roads arent gritted!

I've heard Newbury area is really bad too I was behind someone going 15mph through my village last night Talk about tedious.

A mate of mine does quite a bit of work for extreme sports events, organising and providing medical care; they also help out with TV shows such as Top Gear when they go abroad to film.

This week the police have employed him to "assist" motorists who ignore the road closed signs around Buxton in the Derbyshire Dales/Staffordshire Moorlands where I live.

He's just posted these photos on Facebook of the main road ebtween Buxton and Leek, the A53. The car is actually on the main road!

It's doing my nut in now all this snow i cant wait until its all gone. Snowing all day (so far) in Derby. Im going to brum tonight so like hell am I going to let a bit of snow stop me.
