Wish I had the bollocks to do DH, too scared of injuring myself lol. I've been looking at Orange 5s recently, would love one!

Have you ordered your Cannondale yet Jamie? Looking again at S-Works SL4's, would probably want DI2 but Dura Ace is soon to be replaced and Ultegra is nice but its not DA.

That looks mental!
Still not got my new road bike. Been cycling to work since Monday on the mountain bike, only a 10 minute ride, but flat out there and back.

Article on Wiggins
Think he has a good chance of winning Le Tour this year, especially after reading that. If he's worked on his climbing and add to that the 3 stages of TT in this years Tour, I can't see why not. Andy Schleck is a hopeless time trialist so if Sky can keep him in check on the big climbs, Wiggins can do some serious damage on the TT stages.
BWin offering best odds at the moment. Might be worth £20.

Guys, would a Allez compact be enough gears (16) for commuting 6 miles? The route I take is fairly flat, so would riding in the top gear be enough gears to not have me peddling like a mad man.
Or would I be better off with a hybrid of some sort?

Thats fine. I only use my biggest chain ring unless I'm going up a whopping great hill.

not posted anything in here but read a bit; not long bought my Missus this bike as a bit of a canal/ trail/road/ all round basher. Got a cracking deal on it which I couldn't turn down and gets her out riding with me occasionally
