Could someone not just tell Lee how much everything costs roughly and be done with it?
People have.... but its the folk posting shite in between that has turned this into a pointlessly long thread.
An EVO will be more expensive to run than a TD Skoda.
Price tax and Ins yourself (say £1500 per year)
Price your fuel usage. He surely knows the rough yearly mileage he'll do. Say 8000mile. That would prob work out around £3000 on fuel
Servicing - DIY, budget £300 for parts (10l oil, diff fluids, GB fluids, plugs, filters) ((I have yet to see 'cheap' 10w60 oil for example)
Servicing (garage) - use prices quoted before.
Tyres, clutch, brakes - all depend on useage but if you use OE fitment autofactor stuff it will be cheapish. use designer label gucci parts and it'll be many thousands if you need all 3 in one year.
You have to consider that it is VERY easy to get power from an EVO, so it quickly gets more and more expensive.

everyone knows they are more expensive to run then a normal car, they are a small engined, highly tuned, turbo powered, 4WD supercar in a saloon body.
i agree with jay that if you have to ask then you should really investigate them further before asking a corsa club.
although nothing wrong with asking here i spose as a few people have had them, a bit like some people ask me about corrados even though they could use the corrado forum.
i think thats what makes CS a bit better than most forums, and Ian would be missing a trick not to take advantage of that somehow, rather than just ban everyone so Nic can post vid of him going up a qtr or wheel spinning on a farm, which he clearly wants CS to be.

i think when you have a car like an evo or maybe a corrado, your not really "running" it, your "enjoying" it
Running a car is for treehuggers imo
