Havent touched this for a couple of weeks, partly due to the shit weather but I've also been waiting on the cam covers to come back from the powdercoaters...
I was never happy with the red as it was too in your face and didnt give the look I wanted, so spoke to a mate who sent me to GT Finishers to get them powdercoated. No pics off the car, but it was blasted and powdercoated and then I spent a good hour or so ensuring I cleaned all of the crap from it so the grit doesnt kill my engine
Few pics of how she is now, engine bay is getting almost there... Spark plug cover will be back from the bodyshop on tuesday.

I paid £40 for the cam cover and 20 for the belt cover, that included blasting aswel.
He said be about 50quid per wheel for powdercoating/blasting. Unsure if thats good or not tbh

na still taps, think its just a XE/LET thing. Ive had XE's that tap more than this, but it fucks me off.
Hence poss wanting a z20let instead lol, reminds me of an old ford fiesta etc

New oil is going in tonight along with a new filter. After lots of reading on the forums it seems Any castrol 15/40 is best to quieten the XE/LET's so that will hopefully do the job nicely!
Also just got the plug cover back, will go in the bay nicely. Will do for £20 from bodyshop, much better than I would have done with cans
