Disappointed to lose Pilkington but he's been ever present in our failure to get out of the league. So maybe it's for the best for all parties. Morgan-Smith is decent, but has a serious injury problem.

Extremely pleased about the players coming in. Seem's we want quality over quantity. Refreshing after our last manager was buying everyone and anyone and then fucking them about.

Modric to Real Madrid for £31m, very close to being completed. Bale to sign a contract extension (With payrise). Both told by the same friend who is always spot on. Some one else told me AVB to be new manager within 24 hours (2 days ago) but seemed sure he'd be incharge.

Nope actually, Mate who plays in the Spurs 1st team I know a few players from school and through them, a few on here know from before. Like I said he's usually right and don't talk shit so should be true.

Also the Modric story has been in the public domain for a while now

He's probably a nosey fucker then and I can imagine the players talk. There's been rumours or Madrid but I was told definitely and specifically €38m (£31m). I don't understand the negativity every time I post football info, I just post what I hear incase people are interested.

Nope hopefully soon though so things can get a move on.He was my first choice, I do hope it is him. Second would probably be Benitez, think AVB was good for Porto just Chelsea didn't suit his style e.g. pressing, high line and the Chelsea players were a little too slow. Benitez obviously did well with Liverpool and knows the league. I was never sure Moyes would know what to do with money or lure the players we need and Martinez ain't quite ready yet.

Spanish press reporting AVB done 3 year deal but can't work until 30th june as part of Chelsea termination? Rumours flying left, right and centre about a takeover too, I have not idea in the truth of it though.
