Unfortunately no 7200rpm test, though that's a route I'd be more inclined to take.

The boot from standby aren't genuine as there's possibly some differences in settings. Still, it seems like 7200rpm is a nice upgrade, if you're getting a larger drive anyway.

iv been billed by shopto for my battlefield bundle this morning. woot..really hope it turns up on release day now, says they dont charge til stuff comes into stock so hope thats the case!

I've just had the cash taken from my account by asda direct, and an email to say the console will be delivered on launch day guaranteed. Can't wait now!
I've also just had the 1tb HDD delivered from pixmania for £54.00 so all ready to upgrade it when it arrives!!!!

Ghosts and BF4 looks to be pretty much the two worst next gen titles, but to each their own, I guess.
BF4 currently is broken to a point where multiplayer is more or less unplayable due to crashing every 15 minutes.
Ghosts is suffering from major performance issues as, and this is a bit of a joke, it performs better than Infinity Ward anticipated and hence exceeds the framerate cap causing stuttering.

Well, there's not many to pick from, yet.
Getting the Killzone bundle so hopefully that and the free PS+ titles will keep me occupied for a while.
Resogun looks like the kind of game I could waste hours on.
Preordered Destiny, which gives access to the beta. Should open sometime early 2014.
Might go for NFS:Rivals, but still a bit undecided on that one.
Generally it seems all the best games are yet to come.

Can't say I've been too impressed with what I've seen.
KZ seems like the better FPS multiplayer option, not to mention that anything with micro transactions makes me cringe.
Still, for the price it's obviously worth a try.

I usually don't mind micro transactions to much as long as the games really good. Usually say to my self no more than £20.
Xboxone comes out tomorrow, still 80/20 split on what go get, it's just the fact every one I know is on playstation 😩

BF4 will be fixed, it always has teething problems, its a brand new game on a brand new console and its been rushed, nothing they wont fix, server stability and bugs will undoubtedly be fixed in a patch.
Really dont see how it can be branded as one of the worst next gen releases

I think the fact that it runs better on PS3 and 360 than on PS4 and XBOne pretty much backs up that statement, exaggerated as it might be.
The fact of the matter is that COD and BF run on ancient engines developed for outdated hardware, so they're simply never going to stack up against titles developed from the ground up with next gen consoles to mind.
I'm not saying they're terrible games, I'm sure they'll be fun to play. All I'm saying is that for the price of console games these days and given how much (or little) time I manage to find to actually play, I personally choose to have higher expectations than what the milking exercise that is the latest Call of Modern Warfield 9 can live up to.

I just really hope this console delivers over its life span, going to hate not talking to my mates in party chat, but I want the best gaming experience I can, all be it i only game around 2 hours a day. I just want sony with in the next year to come out with a game that I'm like yes ! This is the right place to be other than uncharted 4 ( never played the series)
