Because he's a world class player, he wants to come and we have an option that allows us to take him at an affordable price. Then the fact that we know by not taking him, he will go to a direct replacement.

Also, we were creating so well when Ozil, Ramsey and Wilshere were all injured this season weren't we...

How many other top teams would enable the selling of their captain/former captain to a direct rival... not to mention fucking Chelsea! I could live with Utd and even City, but fucking Chelsea!!! No chance son.

Turning down Fabregas knowing full well he'll join your rivals when you do is ludicrous IMO.

I could easily stomach that. Problem is, you don't really need him either

Fucking madness from Arsenal. He can play the deep sitting role (a la arteta) or anywhere in front of that. Other than Ozil, they have no other player you could say is world class, yet.

Apparently he has turned down a far more substantial offer from West Ham as well, can't fault the lad for wanting to play for his boyhood club and he think he'll do a good job for us but cant help feeling a little underwhelmed as Ashley will probably see it as job done, Cabaye replaced! Was hoping we would sign Cabella as well but those rumour seem to be dying off now.

You do realise hes not that kind of player at all right? Although hes on his honeymoon at the moment and said nothing would be penned till hes back - still time for a counter offer from us. He turned whu down as he didnt want to move his family.

I think its safcs own fault, contract offer last year was insulting, if he does leave, good luck to him

That's exactly what I'm getting at but the powers that be at Newcastle seem to think one midfielder out one midfielder in irrespective of the type of player they are, how else do you explain the logic in playing a box to box, central, midfielder like Sissoko on the wing for almost two seasons following Gutierrez departure. Pardew and Ashley are both fucking clueless.

Jamie White signed from Salisbury
Meant to have a pretty good goal record at this level which is definitely needed

He was born to replace Gerrard. If he continues improving like he has, he'll become a class player.
