ive been in a modded corsa valver(gary gsi) and me mates nova valver, and the nova was a bit quicker I thought, mainly due to the cams and alpha management I think tho lol! I think peeps should lay off the nova, without it we wudnt have the corsa, and its a good car in itself, it aint fair to compare em as ones alot older than the other, after all, they are both the same cars, just different eras, u wanna compare cars to cars from the same era I think just me 12p's worth in the debate

On the subject though, it's simple maths. A lighter car with the same engine will accelerate more quickly. I own a standard Corsa GSi (an allegedly "hot" hatch in it's day) and a 2.0 16v Nova. The Nova I would class as a performance car, the corsa is barely luke warm in comparison.
