Jim, I think you failed to notice the "kids/comedy" part.

So far i've got -

Police Academy
Labyrinth
The Goonies
Gremlins
Flight of the Navigator
ET
BFG
Beetle Juice
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
Ace Ventura Pet Detective
Beverly Hills Cop

Just had a look at my "family movies" folder to see. Not sure if they're early 90's but still classic.

Richie Rich
Dennis
The Rescuers
An American Tail
The Corpse Bride
Indian in the cupboard
Iron Giant
Nightmare before Christmas
Addams Family 1 & 2

They're about the earliest ones I have that you haven't listed that are in my movies folder, rest will be on DVD so I'll look later.

Are these actually for a child because the Indiana Jones movies scare the shit out of my daughter, especially temple of doom with the heart removal thing

No not for a child; someone i know has had a very sheltered life (ie: never seen Beetle Juice, Ace Ventura, The Goonies etc), so getting hold of a load of classic 80s/90s films for a lazy sunday film day.

Cheers for the input so far

What about the Home Alone movies too? Watched Home Alone 5 the other day, which although it was shit, it was better than number 4.

Flight 7/10 - Enjoyed it mostly, although felt it was a little too long, any other actor than Denzel and it would of been a lot worse

Over the past 2 days i've watched 4 of the 5 Fast and furious films (left tokyo drift out)

If you can see past the unrealistic bits they are actually really good films imo, they definetly got better after each one. I've watched them loads of times now and they're still great.

Watched it this afternoon and it's a great film but can imagine it getting overhyped due to the subject matter

Are you talking about the seal team six movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2095605/
