Update : 07/06/2012

Today a few bits arrived for the car.

-GM oil pump
-Lifters
-Oil pump gasket and seal

And i've purchased some more oil as it's on offer at £17 at Halfords.

Packages











More oil



A few more of the L piece after another coat on silver,think i've done a decent job say it's with a touch up pen.





And,does anyone know who's car this is on my bro's computer screen? Haven't a clue...

from the 1st photos yesterday the plug cover looked great with the silver, close up(todays pics) you can see its been done with a brush/pen and doesnt look that great.

Darryl masked his up and sprayed it i think? Looks damn awesome

If you were masking it you'd want to do it the other way round anyway

As you said it'll do for pvs The one Tom did for Generation is the best I've seen tbh

Yea you'd mask the lettering up and spray the actual L piece. I'll sort it after PVS when i've got more time.

Update : 08.06.2012

Today as you know me and my dad fitted the the new lifters and pump. All back together etc and started her up and the tappings still there. It's not the lifters it's something else. Can't keep guessing with it all time so me and my dad have agreed that it'll have to come back out and get another engine.

I won't be at PVS sunday so i hope weathers ok for everyone going. Been a frustrating few months for me but i'm not going to give up. Not sure when it's coming out yet as i need to get another car for work etc.

Sorry to everyone who wanted to see it.
