i really doubt they'd pay for 24hour guards just to stop people falling through, for about 20years - what a waste of tax payers money!
there's got to be a reason they can have ppl live in some of the old buildings but refuse planning permission for the rest

If it was to stop people hurting them selfs they would put a fence then they would have to break entry to get in so they wouldn't be liable.
Is the building listed? Could explain why planning permission was denied.
If thats not why there hiding something.

pretty sure its not listed like, apparently planning permission was refused on flood grounds. they still let ppl live in the old houses at the front gate tho

right, building is not listed BUTTT its got to be 20 years before you can destroy/build on NHS buildings, and there is also a curch in the grounds, and its5 50 years before this can be destroyed. however if you've thread all the thread, you'd see that the doctor i asked said it couldnt be built on because of the TB virus (which has several problems as posted).
as for the guards, fair play not wanting people to hurt themselves as buildings are unsafe, but guards with BIG guns and dogs, 24/7...

well surely the ppl living right next to the place are in danger if there's a virus, and even if its got to be so lnog b4 it can be built on, they would still probably draw the plans up so they can get cracking straight away?

Guards with guns PMSL

i thought this thread was about nothing special. just read a wee bit of it, and i believe you about something weird going on. I used to go to school in St Albans, just down the road from R-Tec ( ), and a bit further on is a place called Hill End. There is a disused mental hospital there, and at one point after school, me and a few mates were walking to one of their houses, right past the old hospital, and there was shit loads of creepy looking fellas just searching the whole place over. Wasnt the police, but definately some kind of organisation. whether they were government, i am not sure, but some of them had biohaz suits on, and a few guys were guarding the driveway, making sure no-one interfered.
We just went on out business and never found out what happened. Some time after that though, houses were being built really close to the site.
Perhaps its not so sinister lynny.

seen the first link before, but this is the thing, iv sen loads of sites saying that planning permission has been accepted and work is due to start on a certain date (each time that date comes and no work is done), also read on other sites that that planning permission is continuously knocked back, PLUS theres that law (least i think its a law) that it has to be 20 years before building on NHS can take place, and 50 years because of the chapel in the hospital.
this is my whole point, everywhere we read, its conflicting evidence, plus we had that info from the doctor who said that the site couldnt be built on because of the TB virus.
18 page thread and still no further forward lol.
granted could all be innocent yes, just seems very odd to me, if u read all the evidence together anyways
