When you challenged me to a race for V5's ... were you properly booting it away, I was 3 up and kept up pretty well in 1st + 2nd gear. My car is running crap in hot weather and I think I know why.

The proper Ecosse Induction Kits have Samco thick hoses. Mine has a chrome metal pipe. The pipe gets boiling hot off the engine and then warms all the air that's being sucked in hence making it utterly pointless! As it's now getting cold air from the front, but warming it as it travels down the tube

Doh!

Solution?

Get the expensive induction kit with Samco Blue Hosing at the top part.

P.S. Pugnut - with your history, no chance mate. You'd start it up and the car would blow up, or you'd manage to flip it at 5 mph.
