hey mate
i got the rxII's on ebay, i needed sensible wheels and i impulsively bought these because they were 16s
i also got the centre caps on ebay... but they're not cheap... i paid £33 posted! the ones you want are 56mm ones, they come in a few finishes but the carbon is classy as fook.

On the Polo the VW centre badges have gone all shitty so need new ones and the BBS badges look much better.
You say 56mm? Got the RXII on the Polo but 15"
Trying to find some 16" RXII is impossible especially in 4 stud.

rxII are rare as hens teeth in 16”, but 1 piece 16" rx’s are not a bad substitute and easier to find (4 stud calibra dtm ones)
the centre caps are 56mm on 15s and 16s.
ojc - are the rxII’s on the polo not corroded? Most of the original ones seem to be, a refurb is almost a given on these wheels when buying a set.

Nope, the bloke at the garage had the wheels refurbished and they are in decent condition.
Cheers for your help.

i have a 1/2 cage & leather recaros sitting waiting, but i don't think they'll ever get fitted.

thanks for the comments lads
the issue is out now, i'm not quite sure about the oem+1 thing, and i definately didn't say that 'bbs made wheels for vaux at some point' but i'm pleased with the feature
i'm going to keep the car until feb and then make a decision on respray/retrim or a new project.
seeing it in print makes me feel like finishing the job!
aaron - if i do split i'll let you know, i'm not sure on prices yet
graeme - hey mate, i've still got the gti, but that's definately staying as a daily or being sold to fund a car for 2010 season in the spring.
