IMO, i can't see why Villa would wanna go to Liverpool especially if Chelsea are after him too You'd pick Chelsea everytime as they're the bigger club with more going for them??
Alonso would be a massive loss!!

*Sigh* Kenny Miller to Rangers for a reported £1.9million. TBH I'd rather have 109,000,000 penny sweets.

Chelsea have alot more going for them how I would disagree with that in almost every way (obviously with rose tinted glasses but still).
Can't see us getting ribery (although I do rate him), would be awesome to get villa though

I dont see a reason why ANY player wouldnt come to Liverpool tbh
Although agreed that its highly doubtful that either of them will actually join us, and not even sure Villa would fit into the system we are playing. Ribery would be an amazing signing though.

Only way they are superior to Liverpool is in terms of how they last longer in the title race. Chelsea are a shit club with no history. Its all about the money they chuck about.

Celtic in for Jerko Leko (The Sun)
Rangers have signed Miller for a fee believed to be around £1.75 million

Ill wager my favourite monkey thong that he won't step foot near Parkhead as a Celtic player again
Broadfoot, Miller, Dailly and McCulloch in the same team

Hopefully not gonna happen, but there's an air of inevitability about it now with our public pursuit of barry....
Juventus will resume talks with Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso today over a possible move to Italy. The two clubs are yet to agree a fee for the Spaniard with Liverpool holding out for £18m. (Channel 4 Football Italia, 1019 BST)
They've got xabi alonso, momo sissoko, tiago and del piero -ooohhh -oooohhh

I'd rather Barry than Alonso tbh. Especially if you make money from the 2 deals too.

I would prefer alonso from 2006, I still rate him but he's had a bad run of form and injury etc. Don't know the circumstances but £18m would be decent compensation for him leaving. Barry would fit in well imo, but it's a case of one or the other.

The amount goes up £2m everytime I see a story about it
I'd only be happy with the deal if Barry costs no more than £14m, and Alonso goes for £16m+, although Id rather keep Alonso and not get Barry.

Emre is off to Fenerbache. No fee revealed but figures quoted of £8m.
Would have quite liked to see him stay but £8m for a player with his injury record is good business IMO

If so, then we need to employ whoever is doing your negotiating, as would mean Crouch is worth £20m+
