Every time I read this thread it leaves me not knowing what to say lol. Words can't describe how much I love this car! Without a doubt this is going to be by far the best Corsa to date in my opinion when its finished.
This is going to get mobbed with me people looking at it at pvs Still on target to have it finished for it mate? Can't wait to see it!

Ill grab the part numbers for you later, I got them for £14.46 + vat
You need to have the hub carriers machined out to 68mm and then have groves for the circlips done (as the width is the same) but apart from the the wheel bearings just press in and a circlip each side as a corsa bearing, then simply fit the hub!
I would highly advise using this set up, same as HH setup for rallying! I have never had any trouble with hubs on any of my XE's corsa and hopefully none on the LET!
Hope that helps

Loving the updates, just wondering if you could give me a bit of advice on what paint to use for the block/ gearbox inlet etc.

Hi danny, I used high temp engine paint (for engines) in gloss! The Inlet and gearbox i used 2K (I'm not sure how long is will last.... ) just make sure you don't paint over earth points
got massive update, had a major rush this week, hence no updates

Well this week has been a major up and down week but i'll explain that as i go through it as ever
Started off by welding the wideband bung in, i mounted it as 12 o'clock as instructions stated
Where it sits on the car
Built my drive shafts up next
Fitted correct lower ball joints and spacers
Got my coilovers back from Gaz and built and fitted them
Getting there
Fitted by bailey dump valve (DV26) it isn't plugged it yet, i'm using to block the take off at the moment
Back on the floor
I was booked into have my centre box and link pipe made as local powerflow place on tuesday morning, so early start to get him out, first time he has seen day light in a couple of months
The vehicle of choice to "tow" and of course keeping it in the family
Well i picked the car back up later that day, towed it back to mine! Left it running for a while and noticed a coolant leak, I cleaned checked, tightened every pipe and hose i could see but it was no good......
the leak was from the head, so nothing else to do but whip if off
so back up on axle stands
few pictures of the exhaust, which on a + is really quiet and i'm really pleased with
The tx auto down pipe was modified more, first off it hung to low and they sorted that and put a bracket on it to help secure it
Signs of the coolant leak
Now taking the head off took AGES, as i didn't want to scratch it and it is also using ARP studs, this makes it a right pain in the arse, in the end i had to remove both from engine mounts to get enough tilt to remove the inlet manifold
Checked the head with straight edge couldn't see anything wrong with it, I wasn't happy with it and i don't trust straight edges! So i took it to local machine shop and it turned it had 3 high edges and 1 low, had it machined and only 0.003inch so taken off but enough to give it a nice flat surface. I was happy i found the problem
Then back to the garage to rebuild it
Started it and checked for leaks - all ok now, so i'm happy man
Just gotta finish rest of it off as i'm at modified nationals on friday and i also got accepted for park and posh competition on PVS so thats another good thing!
More tomorrow
