The only thing I can imagine them doing is forcing a meeting between the two of them, then announcing its all been talked out. but I don't see that happening.

Knowing the history and hatred between the 2 clubs I can't see it happening either.
Both clubs should just tell the players involved to get on with things, They don't need to like each other but drop the fucking grudges.

This is true. Neither player is going to like each other but it's a mans game so get on with it instead of acting like kids.

Did I ever explain my reason for man u hatred? If not....
When Newcastle beat them at st James 5-0, the day after in school i took a complete hiding from 3 man u fans. They also stole my Newcastle pencil tin which had been a birthday gift from my grandparents just before they died and jumped up and down on it then kicked it over a wall.
And thus started my hatred for the club and especially the fans. The above is 100% a true story even if it seems a bit stupid, it actually went down like that.
