We've bought Nouble off hammers
How many strikers do we need??
Also signed Jamie Tank from Walsall for 20k. Defender with a bit of promise.

Giroud a done deal by all accounts.

All I saw was he came on, couldn't jump to header the ball without fouling the other player.
We can only wait and see but I would side on the Chamakh side. IMO The Striker was the area we needed a real world class addition not a might be

Much better than Chamakh. Fired Montpellier to the French title.

It may have been a long time ago but we did also sign Lukas Podolski remember, 100 international caps at 27, 44 goals etc. :S
Giroud is def different class to Chamakh IMO although it should be rememebred that he too fired a substandard team to the Ligue 1 title in 08/09 :/
On that note, looks like Chamakh will stay now too.

We need to get rid of all the dead wood. Quite like the prospects of Podolski and Giroud but hope we get rid of the shit too.
Rumours about Rambo going to Fulham??
He's been disapointing tbh so wouldn't bother me. Would need replacing though.

Podolski and Giroud? Doesn't that smell a bit of RVP leaving? He's a guy that wants to win things, and statistically, if you haven't won anything in 8 seasons, I'm doubting he will win anything in the next 4, or whatever this proposed new contract would be.

Ramsey wont leave, Wenge rlvoes him. His stats werent too bad for last season (certainly the first half) and he did tbf have a lot of pressure and responsibility on his shoulders for his first 'full year'. worth another chance.
Bendtner and Vela are all but gone, Squillachi is close to leaving (on a free) to Bastia too.
IMO that leaves Denilson ( ) as the main one to get rid of, hes beign a dick though

well everyone complained that we were a one man team and only RVP was scoring so weve addressed that :/

Yeah I can see that, but two strikers already in? Just smells a tad of RVP going.... Didn't he say he would sort it out after the tournament was finished?

Vela is a very tidy little footballer, would be amazed if Wenger let him go. Ramsey is certainly a very talnted guy, Wenger wouldn't let him go.

Vela is no good in England, very suited to Spain and desperate to stay. He is 100% going to an as yet undecided La Lgia club
cant see ramsey leaving but there is/was a lot of ill feeling toward him in the latter parts of last season aka he was shit lol
rvp situation will be reoslved soon imo. im still of the opinion that hes nowhere to go realistically. barca/real dont seem interested, he says (and i truly believe ) he wouldnt go to city and juve is astep back, even if there iss the poss of serie a title.

Coming to United IMO. Just kidding, don't think he'll leave for exactly the reasons you have said.

I'd be over the moon if I were an Arsenal fan just now, Podolski and Giroud are 2 signs of intent imo. Definetely compared to the normal Wenger signing policy anyway.

I hope RVP is going to stay. As you have said there are lots of reasons to stay.
I don't see him going abroad as his family are very settled here, his children have been brought up here and hes happy with the schooling etc they are getting.
Will he win anything if he stays. Maybe not but bar city I don't think there are many other places he could go that has much more chance of winning anything.
I can see him staying for another couple years then going back to Ajax for a year or something.
