Drove the Jeep in the snow for the first time before (only moving it around the yard at work as it's off the road atm), one of the lads from next door came drifting into the yard in his Transit so I thought I'd join in, gave it a boot full and it didn't even attempt to slide. Slightly earlier I'd drove in in the Combo and it was slippery enough to need a bit of care on the clutch and brakes to not just slide everywhere but the Jeep monstered it. Can't wait till it snows next winter then I can actually use it properly

Had a good few inches of snow here, first time since we've had the X3 and its at BMW having some work done! Typical! Our courtesy car is a 2 wheel drive X1 and the missus got stuck this morning coming into our estate, could've done with a 4 wheel drive version.

A handbrake turn went wrong in the work car park. I panicked and ended up stamping on the brakes. And then I got a bit stuck trying the gently gently approach.
Floored it and got myself clear eventually.

No doubt about it, I don't recommend that. Look how far away the fence is and my mates had to stop themselves from going through it!
I do however recommend finding somewhere with lots of run off, it's sooo fast on airbeds!

Fucking cunts haven't been out gritting last night. Although the roads are clear of snow, they are fucked with ice, loads of people in ditches and trees, ABS and traction control everywhere.

Main roads are clear, just the cul-de-sac where I live and the road (and hill) leading onto main roads are still snowy/icy ).
