Still dont know fuel loads or anything so its still pretty meaningless. Starting to pick up the pace though now as teams look at performance, thats for sure.
Interesting to note that although RB have made it out, they havent managed more than 3 consecutive laps so far. Ouch.

His lap was done on a short run, on the supersofts, i wouldnt read too much into it
But I've got a feeling he'll beat Button and if he does (and Mclaren dont win anything) then i wonder if Ron will want Jenson to continue, especially if theres decent interest in the seat, he's pretty ruthless.

Really reckon Kev will take it to JB this year, hopefully resulting in the dullard retiring.

Tbh i think 2014 and the new rulebook suits Button considering his consistent smooth driving style, which will no doubt help with regards to tyre wear and more importantly, fuel usage - Hamilton/Vettel certainly aren't fans of reigning it in when limits are imposed

Your opinion but curious to know how you've come to that conclusion considering we're only in testing and there's been no show of 'real' performance from any team nor driver?
On another note, anyone see this - raceweeklondon.com? Looks like it might be decent

Basing it on last year a bit too, JB seems to be losing pace. He was always hammered by LH in qualifying but that's Lewis. Perez almost matched him though, and McLaren deemed him "too slow" to continue.
For McLaren to then sign Kev in Perez' place suggests that he's got real pace. If the McLaren is a winner this year, out qualifying your team mate becomes MUCH more important as it could be pole vs 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. Rather than 9th instead of 11th

Jb was clever tho. If he knows the position in front is not worth going for he wont thats y he plods around no point thrashing the engine to sit behind a car because your tyres have gone. I hate the saving tyres bullshit but thats f1 for now
