Went to whinlatter today (again) weather was fucking awful (again) so it was decided to do the north loop twice (again) as the south loop (the one I like) was deemed too dangerous. I'd put vids up but I can't bring myself to edit and upload them (again) I think next week we might go to whinlatter (again)

id rather wait for what i wanted rather than compromise for the sake of 1 day away at the uk's only uplift service, nowhere else in the uk does uplifts.
http://www.flyupdownhill.co.uk/
Forest of Dean and Gawton Gravity Hub
it's based around a pro cole comment from a fe weeks back how bike park Wales is the only uplift in the uk. There are 2 near me also at different trails, in the uk.
Ahhhhhhh

Picked an awesome day to get some time back from work - 52 miles covered in the sun this afternoon- actual sun! Just under 2800 ft of climbing - went twice over white horse hill(first time ever) and 3 other 20% plus climbs. Was amazed to see 16.3 mph average speed for the trip when I got home, was aiming for 14mph - big confidence booster as the bike was fully loaded with the kit I will be taking with me on Lejog. Biggest issue at the moment is the damage the floods have done to the roads - In places the inside meter of the road is completely unusable. Very happy with 50 hilly miles in 3 and a bit hours though

Sussed out suspension. Tuning it to my weight and needs and new stanchions and internals etc.
ironicly £200 is a great deal and more of less cost of parts :/
Last chance im giving to fox forks. Over priced and fragile I feel.

Went out on the road bike for the first time this year. Did a girly 14 miles, took an hour to do aswell! Fucking windy as round here. In fact the wind and rain is starting to get a little tiresome tbh. I prefered last year when it was snow
Put a vid up on youtube of tuesdays ride, most of it was useless due to rain and mud on the camera, but some of the lads nagged for me to upload it so I edited out the mud splattered parts..

Had a lovely night ride round one of the shorter easier northern red trails tonight. Pretty much rode it start to finish no stops so was good fun.
