Slightly cheaper option, you could try some finned pads from uberbike components. I got some and so far no brake fade for this fat fucker.

Just noticed your whatsapp message, err yeah night ride this week, alas it was last night..

Are you going for full Saints or just the calipers with XT levers?

Ive been experimenting and running XTR levers and saint calipers but they keep pumping up on long descents so I have some saint levers to fit now.

Ah right I think they are a funny company anyway as they only sell you a bike after a consultation according to their site. I see sunsetmtb have the x5 in stock they dont even list it

Fun today. Riding nan bield in bike park lakes, voted best trail in the country. Half way round my mate decides to ignore the corner and rode straight off a big drop into a stream bed splitting his head open and knocking himself unconscious for about 5 minutes. Rang for an ambulance, that came and so did the air ambulance. He is fine, Scottish so carried on with the ride afterwards. Scary shit though seeing your mate face down embedded in a rock with blood dripping out of his head.

Got a rockshox debonair monarch thingy on the back of my bike, it has a max pressure of 350psi so I'm maxing it out pressure wise but getting too much sag.

Now I know on the front forks I can stick in a "bottemless token" but can't find anything similar for the rear. Anyone got any tips on gen on this?

I run the same on my spectral jim im at 300psi and just getting 30% but ive heard they do take a while to sort themselves out think its some with the positive and negative chambers equalizing but im not 100% sure on that

It's pissing me off tbh, pedal strikes etc. It's okay on trail centre stuff, but out on natural stuff I'm getting some fucking hard hits of the pedals and I've been launched off twice now. Sometimes with very painful results lol...

Jimbo, cycle the shock slowly through the first 15-20mm of travel to make sure the +and - air chambers are both pressure equalised. If that does not work then buy some volume bands and add them to the aircan to reduce the volume of it.
