Best result we could have hoped for, but poor second half from both teams.

We came close, City looked happy with a draw all second half. the Martial Lingaard link up was good.
I was worried about today, but a bit more confident going forward now.

A bit late, but Chelsea... HA! I am enjoying seeing them in the bottom half of the table this season! Plus i get to wind the neighbour up about their current league position.
Found the Liverpool vs Saints game a touch boring/average. I felt a draw was about right for that game. Klopp will have to wait another day for that win!

I must admit, the usually outspoken Chelsea fans have been extraordinarily quiet this season

Its because with a prestigious football club like Manchester United you expect the results, regardless of what team they put out. With an also ran team like Arsenal results like this go unnoticed as people don't expect anything else.
HTH.

Yep.
Have a terrible track record with pens. Soon as it went to pens I knew we would be out

Glad everybody seems to have finally jumped on the "Rooney is overrated, and past it" bandwagon.
No doubt he will score the winner via a penalty or tap in next game, to be a hero again
