Update : 12.06.2012

As you all know my engine is fooked so me and my dad agreed to just get another engine instead of just chasing problems with it. Hunting round for one other night and Holmesgsi messaged me saying he had joseph17's old blue b redtop engine. Gave him a text and sorted a day to go down and pick it up.

Went down early this morning in Scott's car. Went and filled up and then went on our hour and half drive to Manchester.

Sheffield M1



Manchester M62



Engine in car all strapped up





Then stopped off for a stretch



And then finally home,had to lift the engine out of the boot,me and Scott had no trouble though.



Straps off



All wire brushed down and cleaned up best i could



Went and did abit of stripping on bay





Left it like that for tonight





Second coat of paint,spare rocker cover on





Clutch off



More progress tomoz

Yea cheers Scott,appreciate it. The plan is to drain oil,gearbox oil and coolant,get shafts out,take loom off and exhaust mani off then it should be ready for taking out. Won't take us long.
