ooo yeah thats deffo my old engine because I had the roker cover red before I painted it silver and I only painted the front of the block! sad seing it therer really hahaha but all the best matey

Update : 15.06.2012

Well she's in! After 13 hours work on it today i've finally got her in with help from Ash and Scott.Started off this morning at about 9ish and cracked on straight away. Still a few bits to do tomoz. Redo gear linkage,find a coolant leak,tie wraps in places to tidy it up,strutbrace on and front bumper back on.

First took the old engine out



Throttle body off





Inlet off





Alternator off



Good clutch off my old engine



Good flywheel off my old engine





Old against new





Alternator and starter motor on



Pot flywheel off good engine



Good flywheel on (torqued)



Good clutch on



Coolant pipe on



Other engine looking bare



Knock sensor on





Front mount,thermostat on



Belt on and timed up,sprockets (torqued)



Dipstick pipe,good rocker cover and cam belt cover on











Box on and ready,at this point it started raining for a change





Round the front



Swearing at this point again...



Finally under



Lifting back up



Ash checking rear mount



Fitting loom



More swear words...







What Ash thinks of redtops



Exhaust manifold fitted



Airbox,air feed and MAFS on





And how i've left it for today,as you can see it's dark and it was about 10:15 when i'd done. More updates tomoz when i take her for a spin.
