Quick question, have you ever changed your rear crank oil seal ? And if so how did you manage ? Thanks in advance
Looking forward to seeing the corsa in action again, and I bought mikes exhaust lol

wow that`s one hell of a clutch assembly bud!if that`s not handling the power then good luck finding something stronger so lets hope that it`s just down to the oil.

update time
bought some new gen cvs and fitted them
starter and alt went of to be cleaned up and re coned
head came back from having some work done on it and being skimmed again
block and caps were all skimmed flat
oil pump striped to clean
block got a coat of black
bought some assembly lube
managed to fine a company that could hold the sump while it was skimmed to make sure its flat
was over at beardys and saw that he had stud and nutted his sump so you can tighted it up better with out worring about stripping the threads so he gave me a few studs
new cam cover had my mate weld some fittings on to it months ago but just went to collect it and also weld over the l piece
catch tank had one and dip stick also
took cam cover to acid dippers
few new parts
going to use a zlet gasket this time so bought 2 and took the rivets out to make the thickness i wanted to get the right cr
inlet and intercooler were polished up
new headgasket is now 6 layers insted of 4
big big big thanks to beardy for sorting me out my girdle plate , old one was 1.5mm bent either end , so bought another one of some one else and that was bent to spoke to beardy and he got me one and had it skimmed by the lad who does my machining work now and its spot on
light shined through to show
then cleaned everything
then started assembly
chosen gasket sealer
just wating for cambelt and rollers to turn up as was sent the wrong ones then i cam time it all up, cam cover is away at the painters and got loads of bits at the polishers and get them back at the end of this week

I've used them z20 head gaskets for years never once had a problem. Not a very popular gasket for big power as it's not very expensive so can't name drop cometic into a sentence.

Like yours is. Got a right slating on mob web for it. Years later, I'm quite glad I didn't spend millions on a cometic one as lots of people had bothers with them.

Have you thought about converting to F23?

Making absolutely sure it gets no leaks this time then, them studs for the sump are a good idea.
Good work glad to see its going to be back.
