Robin, is it as bad as the one that Richard Gere does in The Jackal, or the one that the fella from 300 does in that soppy film with Hilary'S wank.

Or... the creme de la creme, that is Tommy Lee Jones in Blown Away. Christ! He sounds like the bloody Leprechaun from The Simpsons.

It's not a matter of 'yet'. Live action doesn't do well in 3D and it likely never will with our current technology.

It doesn't help that most live action 3D films are post converted and not actually recorded in 3D, which gives a very "cardboard cutout" look to anything but CGI effects.

The short answer is, if you don't want to watch animated films, don't bother with 3D at all.

Yeah i know that the action ones arnt made just for 3D like the animated ones are so are nowhere near as good. Looks like i'll have to stick with Shrek and the gang then

Titan A.E. - 4/10

Remember seeing this when it just came out and thinking it was beyond awesome.
Now, well... It's watchable, but to say the plot is thin is an understatement of proportions. The whole thing is unbelievably far fetched, even for a sci-fi space cartoon set in the year 3028.
The visuals are just terrible. The film is a mixture of traditional cartoon and CGI and the latter looks dated beyond reason. The film is old, but premiering a year after Toy Story and a year before Final Fantasy: Spirits Within there's simply no excuse for it looking so bad.

'Into the wild'

Was looking forward to this as it's got rave reviews on Rotten Tomatoes (which I find I've agreed with) but it didn't really hit the spot with me

6/10

This is 40 7/10

Some good laughs, dragged on a bit and not everything in the trailer is actually in the movie. Was a fun end to an evening.

The Unotouchables (1987) - 9/10

I never expect much when I put on a +20 year old film, even when they're critically acclaimed. Some films just don't age well.
This isn't the case with The Untouchables. It's well cast, compelling and looks fantastic in it's HD restoration, which only leaves the audio side wanting.
Anybody who likes a good 1930's gangster film should watch this.

yep
I know what expect from a film, different to a badly scripted reality tv show.
