you done a good job there Fro!

plenty of trip ups along the way but all seem small and relatively painless

German style plates have come, very good quality and very quick service, just hope they look alright once fitted! Just need to wait for the DVLA to send the log book back now

well then explain why i've been stopped by police numerous times (due to my car coming up as blue on their system) and they have had a good look around and never said anything?

i must just be a lucky mo'fo

what i mean is that they shouldn't attract attention from the ''feds'' as they don't have a zero in german style in which has a bit missing from the top right of the digit. they just look nice and subtle to me.

Fad i know Fancied new plates though for when my reg gets swapped so thought why not

Robin - Indeed they look cool I'll frame them if they look wrong on the car

UPDATE: found out at the weekend the lock on my boot hasnt been working since i got it Didnt fancy telling the world until I had fixed it just incase.

So last night i took the trimming off the boot to expose the lock. Where there has been water in there it had corroded the barrel a bit and seized it up stopping the central locking bar being able to move.

Gave this a few squirts of WD40 and forced it to move after a few mins, and now its right as rain and working perfectly

another problem arisen and solved and more importantly for free

Taken me 2

Was yours because of the hose coming off the washer motor and leaking onto the lock?

something like that but the car had been sitting in the dealers for a while, i just took it back under warranty and got it fixed he said it was stuck because of the water so im assuming it was that
