Yeah, outer are just a normal H4. Middle beams are additional lamps.

Aye sharp (new) blade and you'll be fine, I used to use it for signs and if you cut it most of the way you can bend it then snap it or score it once bent.

Got my rear door cards cut out today, quite pleased with them. Used some tape to add a bit of strength to them, and to repair a crack on one of them Should look fine once covered in fabric.

Also made a radio blank, forgot to take pics of that though.

Still no fucking injector loom, emailed the guy today, and got the reply:

code:
getting sent out tomorrow dude, sorry for the delay.

I paid for it near a week ago, fucking twat

Cleaned the calipers up too, they are gold now, only hammerite colour I had in the shed

Nice big brakes you got there! changing the MC or sticking with the standard xsi MC?

And nice work on the doorcards!!

P.s have you got any bits left off your old xsi? or has it all gone now?

Ill go with the standard one just now, see how it is. Got the fabric to cover the doorcards, but im away just now so will do it next week.

Its pretty much all gone, or what I had left ended up on the current XSI.

Trimmed the door cards up:

Will be screwing them on, managed to get a screw through the perspex without shattering it, so screwed they shall be:

Pics of some recent purchaces, tow stickers, group N mounts, battery relocation stuff, and my attempt at a radio blank

Also changed the gearbox mount while I was in there, new vs old:

New ones on the left, much harder rubber, should make a bit of a difference.

Bucket seats arrived today, semi-fitted:

Have a problem with the drivers seat though, as the shell has been welded at some point where the subframe bolts to the car (Common 106 problem, rust destroys the mounting holes, needs patched then)

So now rather than having a flush edge for the subframe, theres a metal plate in the way, so the seat is sitting up on it, so the rear bolts are up in the air, if that makes sense

Not too sure what to do with it, may just use washers on the rear bolts.

The fucking twat I bought the injector loom from only sent it today apparently, after telling me he posted it over a week ago, fucking CUNT

I like silver as coloured parts look miles better, DAZ's XSI for example looked amazing with the green steelies.

True, might be cheaper/easier buying a silver one? Unless you get the respray cheap that is

Could probably get it cheaper through work but no point me re-shelling a new one, would cost more in the long run especially with the engine conversion going in before it.
