theres no point removing the inner skin then weldingn in more side bars.... It would have been lighter to leave as is.

Fit a cage with door bars, or better still a door X then whip out the heavy bar in the door ~

How would a door X be lighter than the stock bar? Must be comparable?

If I'm caging it properly I'll need fg bonnet and boot to make up for it.

If your going on track quite often I think a cage would be quite important!

I meant there is no point adding another bar in the door after stripping the inner skin off.

I'd fit a cage with somesort of door bars though.... then remove the standard side protection in the door. From memory they are pretty damn heavy bars.... Smaller O.D compared to cage tubes but much thiker wall thinkness.

If your wanting to keep it light... fit a ChrMo cage

Am I going mad or have Compomotive told me today that the only wheel available is a white MO when in fact they have a choice of TH on Ebay

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/compdealdirect/m.html?_nkw=th+ford

I'm rather fancying the darker ones

They've not taken on the money yet because they didn't like my address so I may still change my mind.

No idea why they didn't suggest those

They're the right colour for a start, and cheaper.

Not sure on weight though. And actually just how they look.

I'm shit scared of the MOs arriving and looking ugly. The larger sizes are all lovely because of the shape of the spokes but that isn't the case for smaller stuff.

Argh, head is wrecked.
