My arguments that have apparently been me "being a dick to you" have actually been put forward as ways that you would be able to help yourself

Not you being a dick. Tomtom and VXR
How have I been a dick?

Daimo, has she got her diploma/degree in Nursing? Or is she a nursing assistant/auxilliary. They're not the same although they work in the same setting. Mental health nurses and general nurses can work with people with learning difficulties, but mental health nurses are trained in mental disorders etc, general aren't i think. Both are equally as important in their own field.
NVQ3 or 4 I think. I know shes at a level where she can administer drugs to them.
Lukeywoowoo - Go cry to mummy. Ask her to get you a job thats cool.

Let me know when you're looking as we have our own healthcare division in the company but also manage NHS Scotlands infastructure so I see loads or job adverts for various things

Is she Luke? What does she make of it?
She loves it. She just complains about how other people in her profession are stupid and aren't any help to the disabled people. She says she prefers working with children as she feels she can help them and their parents more. But because she's been in it for a really long tim, she keep going on about how she should have done an extra degree because she is bored of the same pay-grade and wants more options as she was recently offered a managerial position.

I asked her to mention that i was after some voluntary work as i have volunteered and helped disabled people before, but they are currently hiring so they didn't contact me.

They all love her there because she is more understanding than the rest of her team.

Yes, but because this was managerial they said she wasn't qualified enough, but now she keeps telling how her new boss knows less about the role than she does.

Luke you could easily get work in a care home as an auxilliary if you have experience.

Well i was trying to volunteer for anything in the health care profession but i didn't hear back from them so i recently signed up on a volunteer website for volunteers in Lancashire, they then contact you if they need help etc

She can't have been offered the job if she didn't have the correct qualifications. She'd need her degree to excell further. Her new boss will be more qualified but your mum may well be well knowledged in her field having worked there so long.

This is what my mum does....it scares me what she deals with each day assessing patients. I hear some pretty sad stories. Don't think I could do it tbh
