suppose there would be another way around it mate lol just thought i might as well i didn't want to put a box on the bonnet so i thought smooth lol

personally i like it lol

tryed a inch lift inch and half lift just wasnt happening mate

well picked these up last night off jobbas cheers bud

set of x16xe cam followers for my new cams

just need to get a new timing belt





cams will be fitted in a few weeks so i will see if they are worth 175 pounds

**UPDATE**

well we decided to fit my cams and new lifters today piss easy job


engine getting stripped


new rocker cover gasket



rocker cover off



exhaust cam and lifters out


new exhaust cam in


inlet cam out



finally inlet cam in

has all been timed back up running very smooth

i was expecting a WOW factor from them abit like vtec but i for got that they are only fast road lol

has a rough idle which i love

PULLS like a train all the way through to the red line at 6000 rpm...... before that it used to die lol

What spec cam did you go for in the end? its lift that gives you the kick factor, cam overlap too, will benefit from a map now mate.

No its 175 for cams reprofiled you have to send them your standard cams so it works out at 192 quid by the time they post them back

What made you go for 256 in the end hodgy?

How does the car idle can it the ecu/injection cope with it etc?
