The thing with Deco is that he can't stay fit. Ballack was costing us a week a lot of money, so getting him off the payroll will help a bit and he isn't getting any younger. J.Cole wanted a ludicrous contract and Chelsea weren't having any of it. Losing Beletti was a shame, but Chelsea hopefully know what they are doing.

All I wonder is who we will sign. Still hoping for Dzagoev though.

I think Deco may leave, but it depends on what Carlo wants. So officially its J.Cole, Ballack and Beletti out.

I know these players want as much money as they can but would you not want to play at the highest level possible even if you earnt a bit less. OK its a lot of money but its at the level where it means less in the real scheme of things.

He's said no to Spurs, Arsenal surely won't pay his wage demands, not Chelsea. Who else does that leave in london? Fulham? no CL footy there. Play well in the CL, get better world exposure, get better advertising contracts. You end up with the same sort of money still

That whole article looks like it's the agent trying to make a story, like he's unsettling vidic and touting him around

Nothing in that has come from vidic other than he doesn't want to hear about anything until after the world cup

The agent also quickly gets off the subject about a new contract

I can't see him going to be honest, he didnt cost us much and if we kept him till his contract expired that would be worth more than selling him now
