On another note....looks like Rooney getting a nice ban...dirty cunt.
And SAF trying to say there was nothing in it!!! At least Basil Fawlty says he didn't see it if Arsenl players do something dodgy, and doesn't try to defend the undefendable.
If Utd beat Chavski at Stamford its game over imo.
Can see us falling apart now.
Deffo blame Kos more than Chesney. If in doubt row Z it.

Chuffed to see the underdog win. Arsenal would never have celebrated like Brum did.
Our priority in the summer should be signing someone who can back flip
They'd only get injured!
The players we have that cant do back flips get injured all the time anyway so its ok

Yeah....but Kos should have still hoofed it as he had started to swing his foot so stupid to pull out.
Still a fuck up. Chesney is young, and will be our No1 for a long time imo. Kos is a very good squad player at best. Missing the Vermanator.

I think Koscielny is more than a squad player. He's made a huge jump up in quality from where he was playing and has done very very well so far. Makes me laugh a player makes one mistake and all of a sudden hes a squad player at best.

When all are fit, i'd be playing Vermanator & Djourou as first choice I think.
But Djourou was wank yesterday. A blip I hope.
Kos alot better than he was tho.

Too right he's trying to say there was nothing in it, why would he want Rooney to be banned?! I hope he gets off with it as he is starting to play again now.

Probably will but I'm hoping that they'll say because the ref gave a freekick that it was dealt with on the pitch and no further action will be taken

When fit, Koscielny and Vermaelen.

When fit, Kocielny and Djourou for me.
Koscielny has looked much better equipped of late and Djourou has, 95% of the time, been solid as a rock this season.
IMO, its up to Vermaelen to force his way back into the team, however, by no means am I trying to suggest he's not head and shoulders our best defender but Kos/Johan have established a good pairing this calendar year.
However, as with all youngsters, and seen on both goals yesterday, ytoungsters make mistakes, just sucks when they choose to make horrific childish ones 2 ft from goal in the 89th minute of a cup final when we were stilld rawing

That said, its a moot point as Vermaelen wont be fir to play again this season so itll be up to the pres eaosns to decide who plays next season i reckon

regardless. When fit, Vermaelen is a better defender than Djourou. And that is a scientific FACT

Vermalen will walk straight back into the Arsenal team. There is no way he will have to force his way back into the team.
Kos and Verm at the back imo. Kos made a mistake yesterday but since the start of the season he has come on loads. He was one of your best players against Barca the other week.

Yes granted, as i said above, im not saying he is not betetr than either Djourou or Koscielny, im just sayign i woudlnt put him in the team this season as i think he needs to fight his way into the team ratehr than just walk back in. timign is his friend as he can do this voer pre-season

he will have to force his way in, i can guarantee it. by the time he comes back, it will be either the last few matches and we'll be fighting for the title etc or there will be a few meaningless games left. if its the former then wenger is not goinjg to bring in someone whos ot played competitively for the bst part of a year over 2 defenmders whove done well for him this season, its not his way.
as is ay tho, i dont think this will matter as by the time he is fit (and gets over thelittle niggles associated with missing an entire seaosn), it will be pre-seaosn time and he'll get his place back.

Well, long term i dont honestly know who woudl partner vermaelen.. kos and djourou both have their pluses and minuses and it may come down to which of them is opposite footed to vermaelen as wenger always makes a big deal of playign one right footed nd one left footed CB. also, hes not one to pay £8m for a CB and not play him. But, i also think djourou has done betetr than expected tis season
this is why wenger is paid shedloads and we arenmt
