You'll be much better off selling your car and buying one in the colour you want. Like i said before, nobody will touch yours later if it's not the original colour.
All these individual colours are great, but only if they're from the factory like that. IMO your car looks really nice as it is, you cant go wrong with a black M3.

Its a 15yr old bmw, that isnt rare. It doesn't bother me if nobody would touch it (why not?! it will be better than most of the dogs out there) As i will mroe than likely break this when it comes to getting rid of it due to the fact its worth fuck all in one peice

I usuaully agree with that, all the cars i buy i tend to break and make the money back that way and you can easily get £3k back in bits for an M3. However i still think itl be easier to sell yours and buy another If you're planning on keeping it for a long time (i wasnt aware that was the case) then i suppose you may aswell then. Afterall it is your car
As for the colour, white only ever works if it is perfectly clean. At least you have a black roof to go with it and a full black interior so it should work well. Im a big fan of Dakar yellow. Give me a second and il post up the link to a thread full of the bmw colours, you'll probably already seen it but will give you more options.

I would consider white because it looks modern, is a solid colour (cheap) Alpine white is rare as shit on the E36 M3s. Velvet blue is the colour i really love but that would requre changing the interior etc..
I think white would be great. Would work with 3 sets of wheels, motorsports, sunflowers and black motorsports! Could have summer/winter wheels.

There's that thread.
White should look nice, really nice infact. Totally standard looking white M3 on motorsports with full black interior is close to perfection, i would want to lower it a little aswell but thats just my opinion.
