See that looks smart, but its getting further away from the original idea of smoothing the DTM's into the baseplates to make the mirrors look smoother, loose stick out like fuck!!

I just can't justify spending that much when I'm not 100% sure about them & they do look to similar to the cheaper M3 versions, also I'd still have to get them painted.

I agree, I just can't justify spending that much on something I'm not so sure about.

So time to get the car ready for this season, not a lot to change this year few new bits like replacement headlights, LED side repeators and general service stuff.
Oh, however there is all this to add to it
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but for those of you who don't know me I am a DJ and have had my own mobile entertainment & event company for years - so naturally I have a love for music and audio builds in my cars.
Don't worry I'm not going to ruin the car, other than weight it down!! This will look very tidy once its built, with a simple false floor built around the RX8 seats, show cage & rear strut brace - along with some door pods for the speakers.
The car goes in to Zerocake at the end of this month, personal friend of mine who started his own business doing various aftermarket services including car audio and air ride.
Will update the thread once the build starts

I haven't had one in the Corsa yet, but all my previous cars I did - but we're talking 5/6 years since I did one.
This was the audio in the back of my old Fusion sponsored, MK4 Redtop Astra Van
This was the Rockford Fosgate install in my old Focus ST170.

Fast Show prep started yesterday, first proper clean and polish of the year. Still not the best weather for it, but always nice to get her looking clean- despite the age and condition of this car, everytime it gets a machine polish the result still always impresses me
Step 1: Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner
Step 2: Poorboys Black Hole
Step 3: Autoglym HD Wax
Oh and for a moment it looked like I had two of this special lass in my life!!

I had this dicussion with a couple of people at our last gethering on the weekend. Most of the stickers are in relation to my club and all of us in the club all have the same stickers, the other ones are a personal thing 1 being the name of the project and the one on the boot in memory of someone who made me get into all of this all them years ago lol.
But I was considering taking all of the show stickers off the front windscreen, so it was just left with white stickers and nothing else - but its nice to show where the car has been so im undecided at the moment

Personal preference mate, I have always been anti-sticker and have never had anything on any car
Stickers make me of the boy racer tag which I have never liked but other people like them, your car your choice

So took all the multi-coloured show stickers off the front windscreen this morning and the tax disc holder. So this just leaves all white stickers, looks a tad cleaner. I want to keep the other stickers as its personal preference, so I am now looking at the idea of changing them all to black so it doesnt stand out as much

It's a long term project, started in 2011. This is probably the last modified car I'll do, so yer over the next couple of years hopefully get all the bodywork redone and give her a full hit and then eventually a new engine
