Happened this morning. Wide road so normally fine for overtaking but some bell in an Insignia went blasting down the middle which is still covered in snow and slippy as fook! Shame he didnt spin out and die in a flaming wreck tbh.

been chucking it down here since about 2, gonna have another 5 or so inches on top of the last lot! all major roads are shut. Taken mates that live like 2/3 miles away well over 3 hours to get home.

work car park was interesting last night.

the spaces and roads were fine, but walking into work was an absolute mission. suprised no one fell over accidentally on purpose, considering the amount of people hunting around for claims.

just slush on the roads here, which means having to use the windscreen washers every 5 seconds

Or that bone idol. I mean how much of a rush can you be in to only do that.

Narks me off when I see people that haven't clear snow off their roof properly. 1) it flies off backwards into the road and onto other cas 2) if tyou brake hard it just covers the windscreen.

agreed. some people are just moronic, i think.

people are just in too much of a rush these days to bother about their own, and others safety. i guess they reckon that because they are covered under insurance, then it doesn't matter if they crash.

I know, I was behind someone in a van earlier but he had massive chunks of ice not snow coming off his roof

Had to leave like 5 car lengths between me and him as I didn't particularly want a frozen chunk of ice smashing my windscreen in the early evening drive home from a customer

I've never bothered swapping tyres on any of my cars, I just bought tyres which were all weather ones (or so I was led to believe).

Mind you, with a tyre size of 215/50/16 on my current car you don't exactly get much choice on tyre these days - not unless profile is changed.
