Looks nice now. Stops them looking so in your face. Red looks good too but the car colour suits the subtle tint perfectly

I prefer the all red. But with a chrome surround would be even better

I do like the smoked and if you hadnt of put the pic of the red one up id have been all for them
All red looks really good Steve imo. Something slightly different too.
I really feel the smoked/clear light rear lights is ancient and really looks like your trying too hard.
Just my opinion

I prefer the Subtle Tint ones, but they don't stand out any more/less than ther All Red ones.

SubtleTint looks good. I prefer the red but I agree I looks odd on its own, the only way it would work is to have the reverse light and 3rd brake light red too.

Possibly not against the blue paint but when you factor in the rest of the colours they blend in more, they pretty much match the colour of the roof and other details.
The argument about tinted lights becoming popular in the 90's you could argue that red rear lights became popular in the 1920's or whenever the first car that started using rear lights came about.

Also Clear and smoked rear clusters are aftermarket not standard so your 'arguement' on 1920s doesnt really make any sense
