Unfortunately we only get to see the retarded EDL supporters, there will be plenty who have some intelligence.
There is plenty i'd like to say about the Muslamics but i'll keep my mouth shut as i can't think of a way to put it across that doesn't sound massivly racist.

Short of skinning the animal alive or the like it's probably the nastiest way to kill anything. All in the name of so called religious beliefs. Then forcing this method on the rest of us under the pretence of religious and racial discrimination.
I would imagine if it was a case of banning being knocked out for operations in hospital because it offended Jedi knights or the like there would a right old carry on but as it's just animals nobody gives a fuck.

I think with halal getting served is because
if it isnt halal muslims etc would kick off , cause mayhem and refuse to buy
if it is halal , muslims etc are happy and buy , all others still buy but moan about it on internet forums .
I would love to stop eating it full stop out of principle but the fact it will make no difference its pointless .

I just ask at my butchers. When the reply was "is it fuck!" I was happy enough. I like asking in pubs and the like, throws them a bit, but worth the effort IMHO. I don't agree with it so I don't see why I should have it.
To be fair there isn't a huge population of Jews and Muslims round here so it's not an issue as yet there is no real call for it.

I've not once been either buying meat, or eating out, and had to buy halal.
The only place I can think of seeing a choice was in costco who I'm sure have some halal chicken.

People probably care more about being able to tell someone they went and laid flowers, then they care about laying the flowers.

Our local one went Halal a while back. Lots of people went mental though and they changed it back, as far as I know it's still the same now.

The edl are the only group making a stand against extremism, yes it's sometimes done with no intelligence but it's better than sitting on the fence calling people racists and then letting a religious belief you aren't following change the way you live.
Halal meat is being used in hospitals and schools because the food contract is controlled by a business who just want profit.
Halal is rife because it gives a muslim a job and then they undercut none halal meat suppliers.
These murderers should be hanged no questions asked but no they will be giving a safe life to believe in there storybooks (the storybooks that contributed to the horrible murder) and be fed halal meat at a cost to mr/mrs taxpayer.
