I'd of thought he would but not seen it confirmed anywhere.

We won't be getting Baines now. Signed a new deal with Everton.

I'm thinking 7 too. Capable of having the pressue of 7 and any other available number will look silly on a first teamer - 30's, 40's etc.

Talk of Rooney being given the captaincy

Think he's got us over a barrel here. 300k a week and captaincy. He's good but is he really worth that?

That seems to have dried up now though, it was evident even under fergie, he bodged it for a bit by bringing Scholes back.

you havent nurtured anyone half decent in donkeys years the difference is, utd have always earned their money and the right to spend fortunes on players, they werent just given it by russian/arab cunts!

VERY bizarre move. Must have seriously gone downhill the past 12 months...

By any good, I mean better than our league 1 rated team.

Boriello has been on the decline ever since his career started.

Yes it's a lot of money but when you factor in the cost of signing someone else of the same calibre + wages the 4/5 year deal suddenly seems cheap.

And he's to be informed about all future transfers. Man Utd is now Rooney's bitch. Gets what he wants, when he wants. All he has to do is have a bit of a paddy. A player that has become bigger than the club, and not an amazingly good one at that.

Hope he doesn't get no.7. I want Januzaj to get that for next season. 8 would suit Mata more IMO.

300k a week is ridiculous. Only Ronaldo or Messi are worth that much.

You lot would make rubbish businessmen. Paying Rooneys over inflated wages is still cheaper than signing another player of similar ilk

How is Rooney even worth half of the £300k a week???

Also wtf with giving him captaincy and also being inside on all the transfer dealings

That is how much Man Utd have declined right there in that one player has so much power. (Despite being a fat, lazy moaning cunt.)
