Using it as a run around for a while. Vectra needs a steering rack then I reckon I'm gonna sell it sadly. Not sure what I will do with the 1.2 yet. Might put something in it...

Yeah it's ran in. It's been my daily driver for the last month which has been a lot of fun in the mornings climbing over roll cage etc.
Not sure on the replacement yet. Kinda thinking between a transit connect or mk4 Astra van. If it was a car would be a vectra or Saab diesel, possibly a passat.

Astra van sounds like a good shout, loads of room for spares too when travelling a far.
Swap everything from the B to the C

load it back up, click play, bottom right it should say 720p etc. change the resolution to a different one and it should, well hopefully play ok. i think it needs to be in 720p. doesnt play for me in 480 or 360 on that link anyway, only 720p.

right few pics and stuff from the last 10 odd months........
car got uniball ball joints, rose jointed track rod ends, new bottom arms and new drumsticks.
also got an eps rack, but a manual column. cheap kinda quick rack. uses nova polybush rack mounts.
hairline crack decided to appear in the block. was driving home about midnight and it dropped on to 3 cylinders. was the water getting in killing the spark. would go fine on full throttle tbh. so that stopped the first ever santa pod trip from happening. basically thats all that ive done this year apart from minor things really up until that video. it was may when it cracked the block. i built the engine in july and fitted it in august, mapped again in september. didnt really get it done that quick as id kinda lost interest missing ten of the best qualifying and pvs etc so no rush.
it had new block, bored and squirters done at mckeens in dumfries, top work on it. new gaskets, bearings and rings as well. rest of it apart from baffled sump is the same engine from 2007. then decided to change to a larger intercooler and larger pipework. seems to oddly have helped it a lot as boost was dropped by 0.1 bar to make similar power. bit extra flow.
oh and also eventually after quite a few people told me to do it, grip tape floor mats. smooth.

also lowered the vectra. its steering rack shat its guts about 2 months ago now, so since the corsa has been back on the road end of august, its ben my daily driver up until this week. vectra hopefully get fixed and then try and sell it next month.
thats pretty much everything up to date. well, also bought a porsche 928 s4 but have since sold that on.

Nic what are you using the SBD inlet mani and TBs, then just a custom back plate and trumpets which mount onto the Pulsar plenum? Would love to see what difference it makes to throttle response.
Also where did you get the baffled sump plates from?
Cheers

baffled sump was made by a mate of mine. was copied from a photo i found on migweb.
