Thought the soundtrack sounded decent, bit of the old Plan B rather than the new pop guy he turned himself into, so downloaded it going to bed. Been listening to it today at work, it's decent.

The Amazing Spider-man (2012) - 5.5/10
So disappointing. Not a patch on Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, which I knew it wouldn't be from the trailer. The film lacked the comic book humour of the previous films. Sally Field and Martin Sheen were such bizarre choices for May and Ben and I think the Lizard was a poor villain choice.
I really wish Raimi had gone on to make the further 2 films he had planned before falling out with the studio. Although, he had looked in to a Lizard storyline too.

Olympus has fallen - 7/10 like a die hard type film but in the whitehouse. Not that new, or amazingly different just typical action film.

The Place Beyond the Pines - 9/10
Fantastic film. Not what I was expecting at all, and it blew me away.
It's a three part story, centering around three different main characters.
In essence, the film is a crime thriller, a political drama and a coming of age story all wrapped in to one.
