He was offered a contract, he refused it.
He could play out his contract, Pardew has already shown he would play him.
He said he would only leave for a Champions League team.
He's full of shite.

Arsenal fans lack passion:

Arsenal have good fans but they are not as passionate since they moved from Highbury to the Emirates.

And here we go the real fucking parting shot from Nasri when speaking about Vieira:
quote:
"He is a legend in France and everyone loves and respects him," he said. "When a player who has played for Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus tells you City is the place to be because it is the club of the future, you have to listen.

Has he not made any digs at Man United? City officials usually manage to get something in the script they give to their new signings along the lines of people from Manchester support City and not United. Got the standard take a swipe at their old club part in there though. Why cant they just let the player say what they want to say! (within reason)

It also said the bid was way below what they valued him at They paid 15m euros, they wanted around 10m euros, we offered around 6m euros.
I think I'd prefer Pieters too. Cissokho is meant to have failed a medical in June, something to do with his teeth that mean there might be underlying problems with his spine or something

From what I understand Cissokho is more of a wing back where as Pieters is more defensive. With the wingers we've now got I think a defender is a higher priority

Cissokho could go either way tbh, he's got all the ability in the world and is really strong but his forms been all over the place over the last 2 seasons.
