Any update?
Every other car added to the thread seems to be worthwhile also
Your car looks nearly there, really want to see what power it's putting out.

I know neil got it finished ready to map but they were having trouble starting it. So it didn't make PV or the modball. It was supposed to be being sorted whilst he was away last week. Think he is back now but not heard anything

UPDATE:
30th June 2007
Finally an update! Sorry this has taken so long, just been really busy and have been on holiday.
First off we have my Custom Forge Intercooler which arrived about a month ago.
Which was fitted along with the oil cooler and associated pipework
Then we trial fitted the bumper to check it still fitted with the intercooler behind it
Next the car was taken to my local rolling road (StealthRacing) for Wheel alignment and Engine mapping....
This was nearly 3 weeks ago as the car was supposed to be going on the Modball Rally but we had a problem....
It wouldn't start!!!
After much cursing and swearing the reason for it not starting was found. The Crank sensor only picks up on 2 teeth on the trigger wheel off the crank on my 8v Engine. Doh!! My engine management needed more like 36 teeth.
So whilst I was on holiday, Stealth Racing fabricated me an external crank sensor bracket and trigger disc that sits on the end of the crank pulley for the alternator. See pics below
This takes us to Thursday night this week when i turned up to see if we could get the car started and start mapping.
This is how the car looked then (please note that those horrible headlights are only on to get a MOT with once its mapped. lol)
And a nice Supercharged VR6 engine just "lieing about" lol
Needless to say it took most of thursday evening to get the car started due to a whole number of issues but eventually it did and we started setting things up ready for the mapping which would now be Friday night (yesterday)
Ok, Friday night...
The car was put on the rollers
And Vince (the mapper) started Mapping the first couple 1000rpm with the view of doing some full throttle runs before the remainder of the mapping
He's not a doctor....lol, he's wearing the sethascope (spelling?) so he can listen for engine knocking (detonation) whilst playing with the timing.
At this point it was becoming obvious that the engine was going to create a hell of a lot of torque when it came into boost so the front end was strapped down to stop it jumping out of the rollers.
But then we had a slight hickup.....
Whilst doing the first full throttle run, the engine came into boost at 3000rpm and at 3500rpm hit 1.4bar (20psi the limit that I shall be running) and jumped out of the rollers weaving side to side and slamming a wheel into the Rolling Road motors...... Arghhh not good.
The result a heavily kerbed wheel
And a sprained wrist for Vince who was trying his best to hold onto it. Doh!!! We just weren't prepared for the 8v Torque
We then called it a day (also due to a boost controller fault that needs sorting) and decided to go back to the drawing board for a way to hold the car down better than it is already.
So thats where I am with it basically. Mapping will recommence Monday evening hopefully.

Yes the Pinstrip in that pic is your photoshop But i've actually had them made up now.
The van is doing ok, the owner is more concerned with getting his Scooby ready for our RING trip next week hence why theres not a lot of progress on it at the Mo. But it now has a freshly powder coated 8 point cage ready to go in. Pics sooooooon
JR Im looking forward to the Torque figure most Its going to Torque steer like a b@tch
Hopefully it will have done some power runs early next week.

Just got a txt from Ratboy himself and the hardboiled egg has put in some good figures on the rollers after the mishap the other day. I won't spill the beans just yet, but as an indicator of how much power its got, it'll only just get lapped by me on every trackday
Well done Neil
