Croft is brilliant... Any laptime info ?

I managed 1:35 with a front wheel bearing collapsed .... on my 12th ever lap

Was really looking fwd to the race after fixing the car... but sadly snapped a rod in Qualy in the morning of the raceday.

Ah that's a shame have you got a thread on any other forum?

P.S reading this build thread has cost me £800 so I blame you

got another trackday booked for tomorrow, so i thought i had best give the car a wash, i couldnt really go with the car looking like this

so i gave it a wash and whilst i was at it i put the old turbo spoiler back on to aid the rear aero.

dunno if i prefer the look or not yet..

i wondered what it would look like if i took off the rear spoiler.

not keen.

Yeah, that does look pants without the big gay wing.

Sort of needs it to balance out that ridiculously huge diffuser.

Turbo spoiler looks good on there and I've read somewhere they do make a difference even with the big spoiler.

Red and black is a great combo

Did my trackday today, lots of different cars out today..

Car was just perfect.. Just got the setup tweaked just how it needed to be, managed to get a 127mph terminal speed which isnt too shabby.. There was a mclaren mp4 which managed 140 mph, i also managed to overtake him too

There was a gt3 on slicks who didnt seem too impressed when i bullied him into moving over,

Split a cv boot tho

No pics or vids unfortunatly.

I really like that very 'racecar' ! Although in the world endurance championship they have just cut it out altogether and have huge holes!

Finished my front vents

Cut and meshed the inner arches

Also cleaned up the chassis a bit.

And all finished

And what it looks like from inside.

I had an idea...

When i was last at croft and my mate was taking pics i came across this one and though that it deffinatly was missing something..

so i did some photoshopping and decided to put the black turbo spoiler back on and design some sideskirts.

they do actually have a purpose and are not just for show, they stop a lot of the air coming over the car and underneath.

so i bought some ali sheet and made it the right shape.. then stuck it on to see how it looked.

all that was really wrong with it was it was a little low as i wanted the overall profile to match the splitter at the front.. so today i started making them fit nice.

started with rain... lots and lots of rain.

but soon had them all finished and installed.
