I'm not being gay about a Vtec or anything, BUTTT, why is the torque figure sooo sooo low compaired to the bhp?
Surely the bhp and torque should be about level?

That's just how vtecs are, low torque, high bhp but that question has led me to realise something.....

engine and box will be going into mine asap. b18c4, feels loads better to drive, pulls like a train. will suprise quite a few people

How much more torque does the b18 have over the b16??As the bhp is about the same.
Youll still get owned by an XE corsa lol.

No b18c7 has 187 bhp.He has the b18c4 which is around 167 iirc.

i use to work for honda and drove the 1.6 vti - i was very surprised
if a corsa with c20xe in beats it then the civic either has a realy realy realy realy realy shit driver or a proper f**ked engine
