Just a quick pic I whipped up to show how intercooler should look. It's only a shit edit but it's pretty much to scale. Scary how much bumper will need to go
People's ideas?

Yeh I didn't want to start cutting it but do like the idea of seeing some red and a cooler in the bumper. Need a bigger cooler for more power so the bumper lost the battle unfortunately. Won't be complaining when it's upto 280bhp though

stealth look is over rated when it comes to a small engine bay that gets crazy amouts of heat soak. more functional is a way better way to go. chop it.

I will be running near 280bhp with my cooler hidden, well i hope so anyway. I agree cooler and pipes on show is nice, would ruin the look of my car and yours though.

do some comparrisons of your inlet temps. its amazing. then do some with a bumper chopped. inlet temps and that lovely cylinder 3 problem with a std turbo sort of shorten the lifespan of the engine.

id rather have things survive than look a touch more show and shine.

Yeh I could of gone for a Frontera one and fitted it behind the bumper but I wanted a little change with the looks. It'll still look clean because it'll be done as neat and tidy as possible but still have that mean ass aggresive look too. Can't wait. I'm thinking VXR injectors, new fuel pump then set up should see out bit more power with this helping to keep charge temps minimal. What you reckon Nic?

sometimes there are issues with them vxr injectors. seen a few on the rollers used with let's that just didnt quite work with the chips. the std yellows if you get them cleaned properly will be ok really.

Stick with the yellows buddy as nic said.. Also my honest opinion would be to go with black hose's instead of the red ones. cars ace mate.
