Thanks a lot.
Solved an issue that's being doing my head in tonight.
When I removed the airccn I blocked up an open hole that had been left into the passenger foot well. What I didn't realise is that this hole used to supply air from the outside to the aircon box then into the fan system.
By blocking up this whole it has meant my fan system could only ever draw air from the passenger foot well. This means that basically
1. It was like having the fan system on recirc all the time which was causing my biggest issue of constant steaming up and
2. My best mate Hawkins has well smelly feet and the odour was circulated almost continuously leading to drowsiness and a sort of odour induced high.
So I blocked up the other hole into the passenger foot well and cut a big hole in the cowling over the fan inlet hole. Sorted.

Well it was meant to be Feb, but I kind of didn't factor in how unproductive and financially draining Christmas would be. So yea will be spring/summer now.
As I've said before I'm in no rush. I haven't driven the corsa for 3 weeks, being driving the 1.0L micra around. I drove the corsa for the first time today and it felt stupidly quick!

Update
Today at work I cleaned up my flywheel, it also celebrated its 21st birthday yesterday.
Then when I got home I took the engine off the stand and fitted the flywheel, this will enable to eventually turn the engine over on the stand using the starter motor.
Then I bolted on the head, followed by the Oil Pipe thing ( ), the thermostat and, just loosely to keep it out of the way, the inlet manifold set up.

Indeed it's getting closer and closer! I think I would be more excited about the barbie scooter though...
The alternator set up is really holding me back looks like I'm going to have to try vauxhall for a few of the brackets.
Oh yea and money that is really holding me back as well!

It has definitely been worth all the hours (read: days) I spent cleaning it, it is so nice to put back together, my hands don't even get dirty
No, I bought a different one off of here as the one that it came with was cracked in half , but it is missing one of the brackets and it is impossible to find one! Will ring vaux about it tomorrow.

Update
Today I decided that the depo I bought off Ant B just looked too cloudy compared to my 4 month old one on the drivers side. Plus the metal cap over that is in front of the bulb was wobbling.
So I removed all the broken glass off the back of my old (4month) depo. Removed the unbroken lens off the depo I'd received from Ant B and cleaned all the dried condensation off that was making it cloudy.
Then after removing all the old glue off both parts, waking in a couple of small packs of silica gel and cleaning them all up I used silicone to put the two halves back together.
Old back on left. New depo ready to go in on right and last pic.
Well pleased looks brand new!

Update
Something I'd been after for a long time came up at the right price earlier in the week and I just couldn't resist
So a quick 5 hour round trip to Caerphilly in Wales later I had a pair of Cobra Daytona reclining bucket seats with corsa subframes (thanks Rob-e91)
Hit a few problems during fitting such as a previously snapped off bolt and some alignment issues but after about 4 hours of messing about they are in
I'm so pleased with them, they are so comfortable and I feel a lot more confident behind the wheel with them holding me in place.

To start with I was planning on getting them re-trimmed as I am very much part of the subtlety club but they actually look really nice in there and they aren't too in your face.
And yes red and white will be the colour of the engine bay so will tie in with that as well.
They are so immensely comfortable I just love them
