I was tempted to go out and buy a clio 172 when the belt slipped, but sod it youve made me realise theres so much more that can be done with mine yet, and its starting to motivate me to get it done and back on the road.

Giving me some inspiration to get it done there mate And yeah I'm not sure why but i really want to stick with this one. And yeah the engine conversion wouldn't be till atleast next summer so I'd have a while to get an idea, ah thanks mate thats good to know if i ever get stuck Ahh definitely good! Quite alot of people on here selling up and moving on! Sad to see Should definitely stick to yours! Liking your ideas

Update: 15/01/2011

Well today I took a risk in fitting the rear springs and rear lights and luckily it didn't rain

Don't think they've settled yet, only went on a 2 mile drive to get pictures, will get more pics when the slabs are back, and fitted

So here's two old pictures to show the height at the rear before:

And here are the new pics, with the rear lights fitted and -80 springs on

I'm happy with the results but as always, comments good and bad welcome

Nah not going any lower on the back, the springs are small enough now, and want to stay practical. Hopefully when there settled they go down a tiny bit but if not there fine now IMO

Yeah And umm some plans are;

Wind deflectors
Some new panels
Blue spoiler
Pillar crack sorted
Drivers side rear arch repaired
Still deciding on DEPOs or not?
Underseal the whole underneath of the car & arches
Probably more that I've not thought of yet

And things I'm hoping to do in the future

Full respray
X18XE1/C20XE conversion.
