Are you allowed to fit gas stuff on these, without being CORGI registered? Its illegal on buildings, don't know about vehicles.

Yeah we need it doing properly. Those pipes are just measured and cut at the moment but not jointed properly yet. Going to get someone in to do those bits. In fact if anyone knows anyone who can do it, we need to be put in touch. We do have a guy who can inspect it and issue the certificate but it might also be wise to get someone to do the joints as well.

No, nothing in the roof, it's not really strong enough to cut in to it. The danger is that it will flex and leak.

We've got ample light with the big doors and windows on the other side, plus the back door and kitchen windows which were recently cut, or if you're meaning for escape in an emergency, you can escape from both sides as the side without doors has windows big enough to climb through.

I really need to get the pics off my phone and do an update. I'll try doing it tomorrow

Sorry for the late update.

First off, we had a huge clear out,tidy-up and vacuum inside the truck. We had forgotten how huge this beast is. We then proceeded to sit back and admire it for a while.

As it was a lovely sunny day we set the saws up outside and had the doors and windows open letting much needed fresh air inside. We started the engine up which hadn't run for months. the batteries needed a little boost, but she started on the button

Tidy!

Loads more wires went in for lights etc.

Water pump was fitted and boxed in.

Other kitchen window was fitted. I had to wear my white suit as the GRP dust from the jigsaw itches like fook.

Ian was up in the pod all Saturday evening and Sunday with the daunting task of fitting it out. Is a lot harder than it first looks.

I started on the seating in the hospitality area. These will also double up as transport seating with lap belts. (they are being modelled from the wooden chair in the pic as it is a really comfy angle.)

And finally, this week i have been building the battery box which will live under the seats.

One of our most productive weekends so far. We would still appreciate donations as it is costing a fortune, and will be benefiting you all at shows for years to come

Excellent progress, really starting to take shape now. It does look massive when you see Ian stood down at one end, there's loads of room still

That looks epic. Hopefully get to a Weekend Racer meet to see it in the flesh.

Just one question. . .will it move with all that gear in it?
